Picture Days!
Speaking of cheese, it's school picture time again!
Grades K-5 will have their pictures taken on Monday, September 24.
Preschool will have their picture day on Tuesday, September 25.
If you haven't done so already, visit yuenluischools.com to order prints online.

We Want Your Designs!
We're redesigning our t-shirts this year and we want your help! Kids and adults are both welcome to enter the PLE t-shirt contest! All entries must be submitted by Sunday, September 30th.
You can choose to design the front and/or back of the shirt and the graphic can include up to 2 colors (school colors are purple and teal!).
Artwork can be submitted via email to: phantomlakepta@gmail.com or in person to the front office ATTN: PTA
We can't wait to see what you come up with!
*We may end up using a combination of designs or modify them in some way. No compensation except for bragging rights!*

Before and After School Programs
Now that we're getting settled into the school year, before and after school programs will be starting up soon! Check the Programs tab on the Phantom Lake PTA website ( http://phantomlakepta.org) to check out the different programs offered at PLE for your students! Fliers are posted to the website and facebook as information comes in.
PLE programs include guitar and ukulele lessons (grades 3-5 for guitar and grades 1-2 for ukulele); Smart with Art; Spanish Immersion; DramaKids; and the Chess Club. Signups are going on right now so sign up before it's too late! |

Corporate Matches
It's close to the fiscal year end! Check with your employers about matching donation funds and matching volunteer hours!

We need your help!
The PTA works as a team of volunteers focusing on many important issues and events that involve our children and school. If you are interested in volunteering, we would love to have you! We have a wide variety of needs; commitments can be short or long-term. Please CLICK HERE to view the volunteer positions we currently have open or go to the Open Volunteer Positions page under the PTA tab on our website.
**We need your help with the Harvest Dance! Decorations, theme, cashiers, food, handling the doors, are a few of the things that need to be done to pull off the best dance party of the year! Please fill out the volunteer form clicking on the link above if interested!**

We want your ideas! We need lots of your great ideas for the upcoming Harvest Dance, Read-A-Thon as well as brainstorming for other events and fundraising! We also want your thoughts and ideas for how we can better reach the different communities and cultures at PLE.
